Well considering the F150 isn't a diesel I don't think Fords experience with diesel makes any difference :p

All the darn F150 3.7L V6 reviews are of the dam expended cab.. But even so the 0-60 is low 8 seconds (8.2 seconds is what I found)

Keep in mind autobytels results are actually not as good as Ram estimates.

Ram estimates nine seconds to 60 for the diesel. Which is slower than their 3.6L V6 Ram.

But keep this in mind.. This diesel throws out more torque than the V8 @ 430lbs. Thats 20lbs more than the 5.7L V8 :D

So its safe to say the new F150 is going to be quicker.

Test drove an eco diesel today. Plenty of get up and go. Blows my 98 Diesel Suburban outta the water. Several stop and go starts and 4 freeway entrance ramps. Really pulled strong, shifted smooth and is more than adequate for spirited driving.

Install is super easy... 2 plus under the hood... I am not very mechanically inclined so I had my buddy do it at his shop... he charged me $25... took about 30 mins start to finish... Cost of the box is about $450 after the dust settles... it feels like a new truck now... worth every penny... I am hitting the strip tomorrow!

ok I thought you said you ran the hemi on the track?? So, Did you blue spark the hemi or do you have the eco diesel now??? Does the blue spark trash the warranty??? Ive been told Dodge can detect if you have a chip in the truck..?? What does spark say?
I am trading in my ecoboost 3.5 v6 dual turbo gasser on the ecodiesel. I will tell you that the ford ecoboost is stock 365 hp and 420 torque.. I have 3.73 gears in my 4x4 and this thing rocks.. It has whooped up on the 5.7 hemi in drag races ive seen on you tube.. with the traction control off you can lay rubber as long as you want without first power braking it. As for, passing its sooo quick, from 40 to 80 in the blink of an eye.. A friend of mine has one of those things that tells you what your 0 to 60 mph time is, so we hooked it up to my truck and at 3500' elevation I ran 6.2 seconds. I love the truck just wanted the bling of the Laramie and the 100k mile warranty..
