i just bought a new 2015 Ram 1500 diesel. It seems to have a vibration at highway speeds. Not severe but noticeable. Has anyone else experienced this? Looking on one of the forums I see something about a pinion nut. Any help or insight is appreciated.

New Ram 1500 Eco Diesel 3.0L Turbocharged

I recently purchased a new 2015 Ram 1500 quad cab 4x4 EcoDiesel 3.0L Turbocharged truck.

At highway speed at 65mph and above a slight shake is occurring. I also noticed that my steering wheel was not in alignment and the truck was pulling to the left right from driving off the dealer lot. I brought to attention of sales rep who requested truck be looked at. Dealer took truck back and said truck was ok. I took truck back and noticed it was still doing the same thing and steering wheel was off.
I contacted the dealer and told them to take back truck and fix it because the alignment was way off.
I recieved a call from dealership to inform me that the right front was way off in aligment as I was told it was from manufacturing since the truck was brand new.

It seems that at manufacturing something is occurring with alignments and steering wheel placement. I hear allot of people complaining abaout same issues. I did have the tires road forced balanced as well to stop the shaking at higher speeds and it did resolve the issue. You may want to consider road force balance the tires. If dealer cannot do it take to someone who can then take bille to dealer for riembursments. I did.

Hope that helps.
