so driving Saturday and the check engine light came on. brought to dealer is a code that indicates one side of engine bank is running lean. Dodge doesn't have a fix yet so they wanted me to take the truck home. is supposedly in data collection and no fix is available yet. they wanted me to take the truck but I just left it there figuring let it count towards the 30 days for the lemon law.

thoughts anyone else going through this now?>

Annoying to say the least. But if you voluntarily leave the truck at service dept I doubt your lemon law clock is going to be ticking. The laws vary greatly from state to state. Check it out before relying on it as a back up. I know in tn it's much more pro company than in al & the chances of pulling it off there for a false warning light is a long shot. Hopefully mama Chrysler will get a handle on it soon.

well isn't a false light because it is a lean fuel warning and ram is aware of it but doesn't have a fix. and they were told to leave the check engine light on so couldn't pass inspection or anything now. So basically they can't honor their warranty and don't have a fix currently so how would it be there voluntarly since nothing was or can be fixed??

Check Engine Light came on at 4300 miles and it was the exhaust sensor. Mother- ship had the Tech take it out and clean it up. Since there are no extra sensors available currently (back order) he put it back in and will call me when they get him a new one to replace the faulty sensor.

3rd trip to Dealer in 4 months for the ED. Just little things and nobody seems to have a handle on it yet. Inconvenience for now, but time will tell whether or not the ED is worth the premium cost up front.

I still love driving the truck, but wonder if it was released a bit too soon.

Had the same problem 1 month after I bought it. After several trips to the dealer, Chrysler finally came up with a solution.. Dealer changed 2 sensors and replaced the entire truck computer. All seems OK now after about 3 weeks.

well check engine light came in again last week at 7000 miles and was the catalytic converter. Should have the part after 10 days. what could cause that to go bad?

Honestly thinking of trading the truck in and getting the hemi version.

between the 180 oil changes and DEF think I would save money on the hemi. yes mileage be worse but at 120 or more per oil change that makes up for a lot of mpg.

also can't keep having issues
