yea more info on the boost gauge, what's it hooked into??

Well since Diesel doesn't have ENOUGH vacuum you cant connect it like a regular gauge,

1) Tap into intake manifold - Something about metal didnt really intrigue me.
2) Hack into the Hot side Of the inter cooler (hose to throttle body). What I did was make a small adapter. Cut the hose. Installed the gauge assembly and clamped it with 2 t bolt clamps.

Confirmed there is no leaks.


It works great. I havent had the time to color match the gauge but so far it will do.

Just a quick picture how I set it up. Super easy to do. I believe you can also tap it into the boost pressure sensor on the Line But again $50.00 Intercooler hose, $400.00 sensor. I chose my option wisely.

If anyone is in the Michigan area...you need to contact Keith at www.GreenDieselEngineering.com and talk to them about an ECU upgrade. These guys can do wonders with small diesels. Tell them Wally from www.LOSTKJs.com sent ya...very good group.

Boost Gauge Installed

Boost gauge is a must. I'm a heavy diesel tech so there will be some modification done soon

Where did you install the line for boost? I see you had posted a video but it has since been removed..
