Chrysler is considering building a new Ram factory to increase production of its Ram pickup truck, so says the company's CEO.
Last year sales of the Ram brand shot up 21 percent, and this has prompted Sergio Marchionne to consider building a new factory. The new factory is not a done deal though. Marchionne says that the odds of Ram getting another factory are "under 50 percent." He added that Ram's current factories could boost production by 15 to 20 percent if they ran "flat-out."
Whether Chrysler ends up building this factory or not, the fact that it is being considered should be seen as good news for us Ram enthusiasts.
