"Conquest Buyers"

Interesting short article in "CarsDirect.com" which introduced me to the term, "conquest buyers". As explained: "Even as GM has recently released all-new Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra fullsize pickups with the aluminum-bodied 2015 Ford F-150, RAM Trucks still leads the industry in conquest buyers, or those who switch to RAM from one of the other major brands."

I am not a conquest buyer - this is my first ever truck. But I know several posts on this site have been written by conquest buyers, as well as some "reverse" conquest buyers. Are you a conquest buyer?
