The problem is twofold for automakers. First, the fracking boom in the Bakken oil field in the Plains and Canada is monopolizing many locomotives. Second, the long, harsh winter is still causing major delays in freight train travel. The bad weather forced trains to slow down and carry less weight, which caused a backup of goods to transport. The auto companies resorted to moving some vehicles by truck, which was a less efficient but necessary option.
I know once they officially green-light it and make some serious action on it, it wont go over easy, MAYBE people don't want it and will protest over it, both canadians and muricans.I guess this is just another reason to consider actually building that Keystone pipeline. All the people who ordered a Ram truck but have been told its delayed should march on Washington.
Sounds like people are getting their trucks in a fairly timely manner. Are they arriving when Ram said they originally would, or were they delivered to you later than what you were told at first?
I was told 8 weeks, and mine is schedules to arrive next week. Which makes the total 5 weeks from order date.Sounds like people are getting their trucks in a fairly timely manner.
