Just learned that our brand spanking new EcoDiesel is leaking transmission fluid..This truck has 250 miles, has never towed anything and is bleeding fluid. The dealer is puzzled..asked that I drive it home and bring back next week when they will take a closer look. Of course this a major inconvenience and could be a big issue as it's drive train related and must be corrected. Thoughts or suggestions?..a worried Ram owner

What he said, seriously.

Inspect the whole vehicle and make sure there aren't any other issues or anything questionable.
'Have already taken delivery..Guess i should have looked underneath before closing the deal. But now everything else looks ok, as far as my untrained eye can tell..'Have appointment early Monday w/ dealer. Hope they have a remedy and soon.

Are we talking a slow leak that dribbles or were you coming out to puddles/noticeable drainage?

If its just surface dribbles you'll be fine until they can take her in for a fix, were talking marginal leakage here... But yea anything worse and it becomes riskier...
