Welcome Tommy!
V.M. Moteri is an engine builder in Italy started in the late 1940's. They basically made the same engine in the 2000's and then GM bought a share of them to make a slightly-modified version for the Cadillac. When they went bankrupt, Chrysler morphed into Fiat while taking over the company. They modified the design for their use both in Europe, Australia, other areas and now North America.
Chrysler/Fiat (now) has been using that same engine in the Jeep Grand Cherokee for a couple years and now it's in the 1500 Rams.
To my knowledge there are no Dodge products using the engine. All the trucks are now called RAM and the Jeep is called...Jeep.
