I have had them in two tug boats that I run in cold weather. Work okay, beats freezing.
Espar Heaters
Does anyone have any experience with these;
Eberspaecher - Automotive Heaters, Engine Heaters
Both Webasto and Espar make this sort of thing. Seems like a useful idea come January.

On a tugboat, it depends if you are running light or if you are towing.....

The ones I use would drive you the heck out of a truck cab.

The ones I use are the air heaters, not the coolant heater. My guess is they would work just fine though.
