Fixed the crappy stereo in my ED

You'd think when you shell out some big $$$ for a truck you'd get more than paper speakers in our trucks. Not so. I have 3 teen boys and it was becoming a problem with the volume up. Solution? Infinity Components in each door and a 5 channel amp with 2 10" subs under the rear seat. With the Christmas sales it wasn't a huge expense and now everyone is happy!!!
Rock On!!!
PS the stereo in our trucks do not have pre amp outputs so the amp you buy will need speaker level inputs.

Dont forget the two speakers up front.

I got a pair of these.

Amazon.com : Kicker DS35 3.5" 2-Way DS-Series Coaxial Car Speakers : Vehicle Speakers : Car Electronics

Been wanting to break down all that i did to my truck just haven't had the time to do it. Where did you hide your amp?
JBL MS-8 Signal Processor - powers the two dash speakers set up to run in series and acts like a center speaker

Amazon.com : JBL MS-8 MS Series Digital Processor : Vehicle Speakers : Car Electronics

JBL MS-A1004 100 Watt x 4-Channel Amplifier

Back -JBL GTO938 6 x 9
Amazon.com : JBL GTO938 6 x 9-Inch 3-Way Loudspeaker : Vehicle Speakers : Car Electronics

JBL-MS-A5001 mono amp

Sound deaden the back and removed the cover and put in described below

Did the trick to my back seats so i can lower them...got some T-joints from Home depot and some ply board and mounted the amps in the back

If you want pictures i will see what i can do.
