Welcome to the show, yea you're not exactly going to be king of the stoplight grandprix. You should check out what Andre is up to with the Bluespark tuner. He's even got his Eco doing the 1/4Hello all
This is my first diesel truck. I have worked on big diesel engines but nothing this small. I bought this truck a month ago and I have driven it from Ga to Va (466 mi), Va to Ga (475 mi) had a detour. I burned a half tank of diesel fuel one way. It is safe to say the millage is ok. I got 24 miles on the highway and 22 miles in the city, no towing. A lot better mileage than the charger srt8 I was driving and no stopping to fill up. I arrived in VA and got the "service electronic brake system". The truck handles very well and the ride is extremely comfortable. I took the truck back to the dealership and it was diagnosed with a defective vacuum pump. It will be installed tomorrow. I will give you the 411 on the results. So far I am happy with the truck. It has good passing power but I ran against a tundra and lost. I will need more hp and speed. Sense I am new to diesel trucks, I now torque is KING when it comes to diesel engines. As for the Def system, I am in the learning process. I used a half tank of Def in 3130 miles. Dodge a.k.a. Ram is going in the right direction in setting the standard for diesel trucks. The truck needs a few upgrades such as a locking fuel door, once piece aluminum wheels, DVD player, cb radio. In the meantime, this will be my daily driver.
