I posted this issue somewhere else but cant find it. I am seriously doubting this engine. I have always had the gas Hemi. My turck with the bells and whistles. 2016 Ram 1500 Laramie. Love it and the mileage I get but...with in 9 months of delivery..window clunk, smoke in cab, messages of exhaust filler 100% full see dealer and Service throttle body, see dealer and loss of power. This is bad as I was on the freeway in express lane and with the sudden loss of power nearly was hit and had to safely go to the right on side of freeway. This is in southern california and difficult to do for sure...so the dealer flashed? the problem and it was repaired or well temorarily. Now 5788 miles later, mind you my truck has 11, 000 miles on it and with in th 18 month lemon law here and the same messages again, loss of power and limped in to the dealer. This was last thursday and still no truck. Last time it took 5 days had to rent a car under warranty as this time. Seriously thinking of filing the lemon law against dodge as this seems to be a common problem and they are temporarily fixing it. I have always been a dodge person..but this is killing me. I don't want to go back to the hemi but looks like thats in the future, only problem is I have additions to the truck, shell, bedliner, new wheels and auto step boards..ugh !!!

Well, I have faced a similar issue before. I guess not everything that we plan will commence smoothly as we had expected. If the current ride causes you more problems than good, then it is better to switch back even though you are a Dodge person. It would help you greatly in terms of convenience as well as finances in the long run which you would be thankful for later on.

I too have the same issue with our 2014 ED The throttle control sensor lights up, then engine light, and within seconds you're losing power. This has happened 4 times, so scary on L.A. freeways. In the shop right now. Will be there for 9 days they say. I have started moving forward with Lemon Law. So sad, this is our 4th Dodge product
