Well if February sales numbers are to believed it most certainly is..

See RAM 1500 sales were up 30 percent in february, giving the 1500 its best February sales in 8 years...

Also of note for the Chrysler Group is that they ended February with only 85 days of inventory supply, compared to GM and Ford which are clacking along with triple digit inventory numbers...

I don't think that its a bad thing that Ram has 85 days of supply hanging around. Ford and GM have far too much inventory lying around.

Ram seems to have the luxury of not having to put up any incentives while Ford and GM can't say the same.

The EcoDiesel is doing great things for Ram, I don't think there is any denying that.

just shows that people do what more diesel options in north america

and not only in the biggest of trucks. in all trucks.
DO you think that the success of the EcoDiesel Ram will spur other companies to give diesel engines another try in North America? I wonder if a diesel engine in a regular-sized car would be able to achieve the same success as the EcoDiesel Ram. Part of me thinks it would only be popular in trucks.

It will
Already brands like Nissan and Toyota have seen to be more actionable on their diesel efforts. The 1500 diesel being out is a real kick in the ass to them and everyone else.
