Considering that the Ram 1500 seen it's best feb sales in 8 years i think it's a good indicator that it is a big deal.
Is EcoDiesel a big Deal?
Well if February sales numbers are to believed it most certainly is..
See RAM 1500 sales were up 30 percent in february, giving the 1500 its best February sales in 8 years...
Also of note for the Chrysler Group is that they ended February with only 85 days of inventory supply, compared to GM and Ford which are clacking along with triple digit inventory numbers...

It willDO you think that the success of the EcoDiesel Ram will spur other companies to give diesel engines another try in North America? I wonder if a diesel engine in a regular-sized car would be able to achieve the same success as the EcoDiesel Ram. Part of me thinks it would only be popular in trucks.
Already brands like Nissan and Toyota have seen to be more actionable on their diesel efforts. The 1500 diesel being out is a real kick in the ass to them and everyone else.
