Not sure when the first "Ram" pickup was built but think it was sometime in 2012. Prior to that they were built by the DODGE division of Chrysler. There was no RAM brand but just a model built by Dodge division of Chrysler.
When you tell people you have a Ram truck many will question what that is. I mean the Dodge brothers made vehicles about a 100 years ago and built some name recognition during that time.
If answered correctly my take is very few owned a Ram truck before this current model. I/we owned Dodge trucks.
