Hi all, I am a soon-to-be recovering GM owner once my Silverado is sitting in Chrysler's lot. I am looking into trading for an in-stock 2014 EcoDiesel unless the 2015 has something different or unique to offer. Anyone, particularly the owners that have ordered 2015's have any insight?

Welcome,

No real changes for the 2015's except maybe a price increase. As for finding on Ecodiesel 1500 in stock, it's a "hit and miss" proposition. Some dealers have literally never gotten one to sell while others, like in Missouri, Georgia and Florida, have some on the lot available now.

You will wait until near the end of this year to get a 2015 if you order soon. Good luck in your hunt.
ED,

Be aware that the Dodge dealers have huge incentives to get the 2014 models off the lots. I am picking up my truck today and negotiated $7815 off of the sticker price.

Good luck!
yes there are truely some stupid good deals out there on 14's right now, even see if a deler would be able to obtain you one off the lot from another dealer, perhaps even out of state?

from another dealer may just be doable, i think it more depends on what the other dealer is willing to do, if they want to go through with that.

I have narrowed down to 4 dealers in the Midwest with Laramie EDs, several are advertising prices 15% below MSRP (~$7500 off). Once I work them over I'm sure I can get 20% off. I should have the deal done by the end of the week!

On a related note, has anyone messed around with the turbo? I know in the 5.9L Cummins you could remove a restrictor plate and get better sound out of it.
Hopefully you can get 20% off, good luck! Keep us posted on how that goes. At least if it works for you, others here can try their luck doing that with dealers around them.
There are some programs that "mess with the turbo". Right now I think they are sourced wither in England or Germany and have retailers/distributers here.

One fellow I know of used one to ruin his turbo. That turned into a thousand dollar spanking.

It's a bit early for chips and programmers. Banks is working on something right now and close to presentation.
Thanks 10%. I ended up getting an EcoDiesel over the weekend and a Durango followed me home. Be warned, bringing your wife along has consequences!

For those still shopping around, I would suggest you give some consideration to Jeff Belzer's in Lakeville, MN. I got 21% off the RAM and 20% off the Durango without much hassle other than fending off the F & I manager.
You did a "two-fer". Cool.

My wife wants a Grand Cherokee diesel. Dealer has a few but the prices are way higher than a decent Ram 1500 Ecodiesel. They laughed at my offers and literally will not budge on those things.

That's maybe why they have quite a few.
