Official 2014 Ram 1500 MPG rating = 28 MPG

The EPA has put out its official rating for the 2014 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel. And the big number is... 28 MPG on the highway.

That's right. The Ram's 3.0L V6 EcoDiesel gets 28 MPG on the highway, 20 MPG in the city, and about 23 MPG in mixed driving.

All three measures of fuel economy for the Ram 1500 EcoDiesel put it at the top of its class for fuel economy. 6 MPG better than the best F150 EcoBoost engine.

If you include the 25 MPG 3.6L V6 1500 model, Ram now holds the top two efficiency spots in the full size truck segment.

This is similar to what I get on my 4x4 tradesman with air ride

20-23 city (depends on traffic and my lead foot)

25-30 hwy (depends on terrain, and my lead foot)
