Premature?

Hello guys and gals,

Perhaps it's a bit premature for me to be introducing myself. I'm sitting here nervously awaiting my dealer to call and let me know that he was able to get my RAM in a trade from another dealer.

I am quite excited after have driven an Ecodiesel last weekend. I am moving down in size/capacity from a GMC 2500HD Duramax, but operating costs and the fact that we don't haul mandates this. We love that truck, but it is a bottomless pit to throw money into. BTW, in spite of it's size and weight, we often make 23 mpg on highway. For that reason, I am looking forward to a smaller diesel, in hopes of even better mileage.

What we are supposed to be getting is:
RAM 1500 4x4 Tradesman
Ecodiesel
All Tradesman upgrade packages
Protection Package
Anti spin differential
Towing equip, etc.

More details and price if/when this actually happens. If the deal falls through, I'll just start over...

Sounds like my truck. I better check the garage.

Welcome. Hope it all works out.
nah, you're allowed to say hello LOL ;) welcome aboard and congrats on the order, trust me they WANT your money :D
Well, the dealer came through on his promise. We picked up the truck yesterday and my wife drove it home. That was a mistake, because she says it's her truck now! Maybe I'll get a ride in it today....if I'm a good boy.

Welcome & congratulations on your new ED, I'm sure you'll love if given a chance ;)
Picture.

It doesn't exist without a picture.
I have been trying to upload a picture, but the response is "not a valid image file", when it is. In fact, I can't upload any file type on the allowed list without getting an invalid file error message. I'm bewildered....

I don't know either. The information says you need a "URL". That's what I get when I put pictures I want to use of a forum in Photobucket.

That then posted a URL// link to Photobucket. It's got to be simple because I do it often. Also got video links from Vimeo and can post a link to different videos. from there.

Get some kind of photo account, put the picture there, use that URL.

Now get out there, take the "reins" from the misses, and enjoy the truck.

What a pain having to upload to a website, rather than just uploading here.

Anyway here it is before we drove it off the lot. Next comes a set of fender flares, side protection moldings and camper shell. I am also looking at Dodge extended warranties and maintenance plans.

if it's to do with the file, you might want to make sure that it is in at least .jpg or .jpeg which are the most popular formats.
No, something is wrong with the file upload feature (?) for this site. My .jpg files will open in any program that supports images. I also tried other allowed formats, including .gif, .bmp, .pdf, etc. None of them will upload. Perhaps I don't have permission to upload. Still, it doesn't report that and says "not a valid image file". Still bewildered...

So, I uploaded my .jpgs to my website and then used the link a url and that works. If my files were not a valid image file, then they wouldn't display here.... and they do.
WOAH, thats the first regular cab Eco I've seen, didn't even knew RAM was allowing them in that configuration!
Yep, it's the only one that I was able to find within 200 miles of my area, but I didn't check any farther away. I wouldn't have bought one if I couldn't get a regular cab. We need that 8' bed for our particular use of the truck.

do you know (or anyone for that matter) if they've opened it up to reg cab/short box as well? That would really be ideal for me...
The way that I found this one was to use the inventory search on the RAM Truck site. I just expanded the search criteria to 200 miles and this one popped up; the only one. You might try that...
