Always good to get an endorsement like this. There are so many truck of the year awards though. When there are that many and they go to so many different vehicles, they kind of mean nothing. That is why every car commercial is able to claim that they won some award or are the best at something.

Read that report. Luxury and fuel mileage dominated the brief evaluation. They did mention the Pentatstar engine 1500's as pretty close to the Eco. on highway mileage.


Towing is another whole different aspect not mentioned.

Other truck of the year things haven't even mentioned the Ram 1500. ALso, I just don't trust Esquire Magazine as my first source for auto news. I'm not saying anything bad about the truck, I'm just saying these awards are pretty obtuse.
