2013 is over and now with all the numbers in we have here the list of the top selling cars for last year. The Ram Pickup Truck comes in at number 5, eclipsed by its rival the Ford F-Series and Chevy Silverado, as well as the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord. There is a lot of ground to make up if Ram wants to outsell Chevy or Ford next year. Ram would have to sell over twice as many Ram Pickup Trucks in order to claim the top spot.

Check out the full list below:

1. Ford F-Series - 793,402 units
2. Chevrolet Silverado - 480,414
3. Toyota Camry - 408,484
4. Honda Accord - 366,678
5. Ram Pickup Truck - 355,673
6. Honda Civic - 336,180
7. Nissan Altima - 320,373
8. Honda CR-V - 303,904
9. Toyota Corolla - 302,180
10. Ford Escape - 295,993.

Another thing to note: all of these vehicles were on the 2012 list of top selling vehicles, they have just changed up positions a bit this year.

I think if you add in the GMC Sierra truck Ram moves up the list quite a bit, but I'm still thinking that it is way far behind the F-150. I think that catching the F-150 is impossible. They would have to terrorize some factories or something for that to happen.
I just can't see the F-150 being dethroned anytime soon with how far ahead its sales figures are compared to other trucks, nay, all other vehicles. There would have to be a combination of Ford making a mistake and another brand expertly taking advantage. I don't think that the other companies are too upset by being behind in sales to the F-150 though. They are still selling a lot of trucks.
