Chrysler Group has just announced that Ram pickup truck sales in January 2014 increased 22 percent compared to the same month last year, making it the vehicle's best January sales month in a decade.

Light Duty increased 17 percent, heavy Duty deliveries want up 35 percent. Total trucks sold = 25,071. The brand also sold 355 cargo vans and 607 units of the brand new Fiat-sourced ProMaster van.

Sounds like these are numbers that Ram can be proud of.

Yup!
Those incentives will help businesses and even individuals a lot, those loyal and open to going with Ram that want to save a bit.
At least they have a way to reel in more buyers, maybe some who wanted an F-150 of Chevy
Yea the incentives will definitely get some who have been on the wire about buying to come out with their wallets and smiles!

Yeah, even more so if they set a time line for it. Without it people will take their sweet time. If there's a set cut off time, then you can expect a lot of people to jump on in the beginning and right before it expires.
So does that mean that profits aren't as good even though sales are up? Is this good business or bad business that looks good in headlines?
it could mean that, sometimes they need to take a loss before they can gain it back plus more. it happens in the industry
