Towing 10k?

Did Ram underrate this ecodiesel or can I tow a 10k boat rig with a quad cab 4x4 and 3.92 axle?

Currently we use my buddy's Tundra and it pulls it fine but around 7mpg.

Towing went well mpg reading about 11-12 most level roads ,min wind , stay in 7th gear ,water 210F tranny 165F oil temp 212F power was good no issue at 60-65 mph I only wish i had upgrades tire a bit could feel some bit of tire roll other than that motor and truck did good job

Great review, thanks for this.
I have the Hemi w/3.92 6 speed and rated to pull 10,300 with towing package. I pulled a 9,000 pound travel trailer with no problems at all. Even though the ECOdiesel isn't rated to pull 10K, I would agree that it should have no problems at all.
