Hi,
I am seriously looking at buying a RAM EcoDiesel 3L . I want to tow a 5th Wheel but understand its difficult putting a 5th wheel hitch in the truck bed. The 5th Wheel is around 8000 lbs Dry. I am thinking of putting air bags under the truck.
Any feedback if this is a good option or if I should be seriously looking at a RAM 2500?

Well, my eco-diesel is only rated for 7,800 pounds. An 8,000 lb trailer would put it way over what I would be comfortable with (I'd go for about 5,000 lbs dry, so have buffer room for cargo). But I haven't actually towed yet, so I'll let others weigh in (pardon the pun).
