My check engine light came on for 2nd time in less than 4,000 miles
That's what i was thinking when it comes to this. Just have to wait for a fix or take some action to influence a fix coming out. There's supposed to be some kind of reflash for the sensor issue. Seems it might be a software glitch.
Just drive the thing. Not much of a solution but for now, that seems to be the conclusion.
Ignoring the check engine light doesn't sound like a rational "fix". Welcome to the world of FIAT...fix it again, Tony!!! Loose connectors, bad software, mechanics that aren't trained properly...sounds like Chrysler will be up for sale again...and soon! (Anyone in China listening in???)the only complaint I have is after I got it home and found two small paint runs and a dent when the light hit the rear of the cab. Service at Chrysler fixed it all up.
After reading my quote you quoted, I noticed my comment wasent clear: I could only see the dent and runs when I looked at different angles and the light/shine would show image refractions and shines from the runs. no check engine light was on. My bad, the comment was not worded correctly.Ignoring the check engine light doesn't sound like a rational "fix". Welcome to the world of FIAT...fix it again, Tony!!!
