Waiting for my CrewCab Slt

Just ordered a 2014 ram 1500 ecodiesel about 2 weeks ago. I got Crew cab with the 5'7" box in the new "blue streak"; Slt package with luxury group and tow group with the upgraded 20's. Truck listed at just under $53k, with discounts it work around $43k. As well it comes with the following

Upgraded premium bucket seats
Remote start and security group
Trailer hitch (which makes no sense why it's not included with the tow group and costs an extra $475)
Spray in liner
Upgraded 8.4a in dash stereo
Park view rear back up camera

I'm located in Ontario Canada, I hope to see the truck within the month. Anyone else in Ontario waiting on a order? Possible wait time?

Those are some great discounts, would you mind breaking down what exactly they were?

Oy I'm in Ontario as well. Wait time I'm not sure but I do know my local still doesn't have ANY demo models. They've been getting a bunch in that they'll let me poke and prod at but nothing I can spend time with on a substantial road test. Might have to take the bike for a scoot somewhere else

There was $8500 off plus $1500 off with a trade in of a truck; the dealer I went to had 2 diesels a slt and a bighorn, I was able to take both out on separate occasions.

Last week I checked and they still only had a partial vin....salesman said they are hoping to see it the second week in July, but I highly doubt that deadline. I'll keep the site posted on times as I hear them myself

What truck did you trade in? must be really old for trade in to be that low.

The $1500 off is for any trade on a truck or if your a tradesman; the $1500 is an additional amount off plus your trade

I just heard from the dealer that I now have a vin for the truck, hopefully it's not too much longer. As I get updates I'll post them.

Awesome, glad to have another Canadian owner on the forum. Hopefully everything with the truck runs smoothly for you without any set backs. What trucks have you owned in the past?

Just ordered my Outdoorsman on Saturday. (06.14) Dealer hasn't yet told me when it will be in. I got heated seats, luxury group and bucket seats. 35K plus tax.

And a update on the status, long story short dealer said no promises but July 1; I called dodge and checked tonight and they said another 8-12 weeks which is insane, I hope they are wrong. Said the truck still shows in D1 status.

Hey guys, another Canuck from next province over to the west,test drove a loaded Laramie today with the ecodiesel fell in love with it,they also had a SLT in Grey that we didn't see but found out it can be had with all discounts applied for $36,000 12K less than the Laramie now i have to justify the price difference to the better half,wish me luck

"update" Well i messed up! the SLT the dealer had was a "quad Cab" Not the crew cab which explains the big price differential, oops

I just got my VIN on Saturday in Alberta.
I will keep you updated as to how it is going,maybe between the 2 of us we can get a idea as to when it will be made and when delivery will be???.

STILL WAITING.......Ordered on May 23; last update was June 30 the truck had been built and awaiting inspection...Truck is still sitting on inspection, Dodge told me that I was one of the lucky ones and my truck was selected for an extensive inspection to make sure the truck is 110%.....Would a person not expect a 53k truck to be 110%?. So my truck still could take upwards of another month.....starting to get tired of waiting.
