What do you think about it so far and what is the general opinion of the truck that you've seen so far?

Hello everyone

I have been a diesel owner for over 20 yrs, Have owned Chevy's Fords and Dodges. The dodge is and excellent truck, and look forward to the new 3.0 diesel. I'm hoping to help out people here who have never owned a diesel truck before. There is a lot of misconception between fuel mileage of a diesel truck and fuel mileage of a gas truck. Hope to help you guys out.

Just Ordered an EcoDeisel

Ordered a Big Horn 4x4 Quad Cab 2 weeks ago. Hopefully it will be here for Christmas!

Name is Jon, I've been lurking here a week or two. Got my ED Larmie quad 4x4 April 21st and have just over 1200 miles on it, love it. Not quite as much power as my old Ford 7.3 turbo diesel but tows a boat with no problem and rides like a dream. Looking for after market oil filters. Believe this forum will be very informative.

Maybe, but the ED suits my needs right now. The ride on the 7.3 was really harsh unless loaded, the ED with the 8 speed is a dream in comparison. The 7.3 3/4 ton would pull itself apart if you tried, lots of torque and fairly good mileage if empty. My daughter has it now and has over 225,000 on it. Had to replace the belt idler pulley on it and replace the belt once other than just routine maintenance.

Nice, yeah the ED has a lot of perks to it, hard to pass up on it really, especially since it suits your needs. Did you own it since new and put on all those miles?

I just picked up my 1500 ecodiesel on Sunday. I look forward to getting to know all of you and learning more about diesel trucks.

My name is Marty. I ordered my RAM 1500 Tradesman Ecodiesel 4x4 CC longbed on May 24. My dealer told me it would be 8-10 weeks for delivery. Does that sound about right?

I'm countrysteve. 2500 miles on my new ecodiesel. I love it. 24 mpg at 80 mph.
DEF fluid already only 1/3 left???I'm worried

welcome to the forum guys, good to see some new members here!

Just ordered my EcoDiesel today. Its a Laramie Crew 6'4" box, I sold my 2010 Ram crew 2500 6.7 cummins a few months ago, I didn't need a big diesel truck anymore since I sold my toy hauler. I was just planning on getting the Hemi, but once I drove the diesel I was sold. Love the torque, and cant wait for it to come in. They had a few on the lot, but need the bench seat up front for my big family and no laramie's within a 1000 miles. Hope is here sooner than later...
