We know the EcoDiesel is going to have slog trying to tow, but what about a Turbo EcoDiesel? strap a turbo on those banks and call in the cavalry??

Probably be able to equal the torque output of the HEMI still wrapped in a 28 MPG package...

Sure would be fun to get some extra power out of the engine though. That could lead to a street version of the Ram 1500 Diesel.

roughly. a street version? I doubt it, no one wants a diesel performance truck. But towing man, the EcoDiesel cant tow for feck. Thats the only reason its not going to succeed. The coil over rears cant handle the load by themselves they NEED the HEMI for any notable towing figure.

it's not that the EcoDiesel cant tow for feck, but it's just that it can't tow as much, it still hauls enough, you can always go upsegment and get a diesel their if you really want a diesel that tows more

Are all EcoDiesels turbo? Not like I'm any more knowledgeable. I just always assumed this.
