diesel v6? not sure if there is a point really.

it would really be a v8 alternative so anything that has a v8 in it right now.. the diesel wouldn't be a good engine in a performance model car though..

Its already in the GC

Wrangler gets my vote too (with a manual transmission).

I think Ram should offer the 5.0l v8 cummins as an option in the 2500 (if it gets good fuel mileage and is less expensive than the 6.7l) and 6.7l in 3500 class trucks and up.

Wrangler and the Charger/300 would be PRIME candidates. Chrysler as a whole needs to jump on the diesel wagon, VW has already proven its viability time and time again, I would love to see a V6 diesel in the larger cars and a 4-cylinder diesel in both Dart and 200.

Upper 30's to scratching 40mpg in the larger cars with the V6, and upper 40's scratching near-50mpg in the smaller cars would be ideal.

As-s, I'm SERIOUSLY looking at the VW options because no one else makes anything comparable. I'm a Mopar fan at heart, but they don't produce what I want/need so time to go to the next best thing.

Tell that to Audi who won the 24 hour Le Mans year after year, after year, after year, after year, after year - with a diesel powered car.

The rest of the world has diesel options for just about every model they offer, from small 1.0 L engine's up to 5.5 L twin turbo 1000 hp monsters.
