Across the country diesel is more expensive than petrol right now. Whats your diesel costs going to be? We've all talked about the increased efficiency and how it relates to pay back, but have we considered the diesel premium?

And the comparable gasoline prices

So I know the common argument when looking at diesel costs especially during the winter months is that diesel stock is diverted for home heating oil, yes thats well and true, but just look at the line graph, compared to July '13 prices do not show too much dichotomy.

Diesel is $3.65 here in OK. Gas is $3.25 for 87.

At least it's not as bad as it can be, canadians have it worse, MUCH worse.

Diesel is $4.39/gal most places, 87 octane gas $3.55/gal. in north east PA.

doesnt the increased efficiency and the increased fuel cost kind of negate the benefits of a diesel 1500?

It has from what I noticed. I wonder how it will do over the next 5-10 years as more and more diesels make their way to the american market.
