we run a landscaping company, so i will be using the 1500 diesel for that, and also for my own personal time, just detach the trailer and go on my way!

A regular cab long box daily driver and to occasionally haul a light-weight truck camper.

This would be a downsize from current truck, that's now my DD. Although I would consider the 6.7 if we were to get another travel trailer or 5th wheel--which is still up for debate.

Depends on your needs really

If the diesel is enough payload for you 90% of the time maybe its a better choice.

Sounds more burly, and is more fuel efficient. I fail to see the downside.

HM, I thought Americans didnt buy diesels AHAHAAA I love how conventional explanations fall flat on their face. I seriously think many automakers are watching the EcoDiesel closely. If it takes off like it looks like it will watch the floodgates open to diesels in america.

I know Toyota, Chevrolet, etc will follow, it's the norm.

Toyota and Nissan are working on diesels, however they're both commited to the 5.0 cummins 8 which isnt exactly a small fuel efficient diesel, but they will certainly satisfy the tow heavy crowd.

well the 5.0 is going in a half ton just like the RAM 1500, Toyota and Nissan are playing the towing angle, while ram is playing the efficiency angle.
